MEETING POINT
Your journey begins inside the Belize City Water Taxi Terminal at the Atlanta Express Travel Shop. Check-in opens at 12:00 noon to depart at 12:30 PM from the water taxi Terminal. Simply check in with the staff upon arrival, and we will take care of the rest.
ROUTE & STOPS
From Belize City, we head west toward the Guatemala border, making a brief stop in San Ignacio Town to drop off and collect additional passengers before continuing to the Western Border.
BORDER CROSSING
Border crossing times can vary from as little as 10 minutes to approximately 45 minutes, depending on the volume of travellers on the day. Once you have cleared Customs and Immigration on the Belize side, our driver will personally escort you to the midpoint between both borders, where a smooth handover takes place with our trusted Guatemalan partner.
In accordance with Guatemalan regulations, all services beyond the border are carried out by a licensed Guatemalan operator. Our partner company has worked alongside us for many years, bringing a wealth of professionalism and experience to every journey — you are in excellent hands from the moment you cross into Guatemala.
ONWARD TO FLORES
With the border behind you, settle in and enjoy a scenic ride through the breathtaking landscapes of the Petén region. Your journey concludes with a drop-off right in front of the iconic I Love Petén sign in the heart of Flores — a charming island town and the perfect gateway to the wonders of northern Guatemala.
